Break Productions

We decided to call our production company Break Productions as the noun break has connotations of relaxation, which you can associate with the escapism of the film industry, as well as being related to the idea of a 'big break' a concept linked to the acting world.
We chose to use a teacup as it links to the first association and is a simple iconic symbol. Harry created our logo on Flashworks, adding moving steam to a still image, suggesting warmth. Anastasia did the type face and the animation. We chose the harsher font for the word 'break' as the cracks represents the traditional meaning of the word.

Cancelled.

Monday the 2nd was the date we were supposed to start filming however the weather was against us and all of the trains where cancelled. This wasn't the best news as this was the day we had allocated most time to for filming. Snow also cancelled filming for the Tuesday meaning that we didn't meet until Thursday.

As it was quite a short session and we were unsure whether to try and stick to the schedule or not we didn't get much done. However, we did shoot some scenes suitable for the montage. Stacie discovered her calling as a recruitment agent finding us loads of extras to walk up and down stairs and pretend to talk, and we shot some scenes around the college grounds. We wanted large amounts of people in these shots as we wanted to project and image of a busy, thriving environment. These are the shots we will put the credits over and the chorus of the track.
